General information about department

Department of Economic Cybernetics, founded in 2000. The Department is leading the preparation of students of education and qualification degree "specialist" and "master" in the field 7.03050201 8.03050201 and "Economic Cybernetics" full time.

As part of the department - 18 employees, including PhDs, professors - 11; teachers - 3; senior laboratory technicians - 1; technicians - 1, head of the laboratory - 1.

Basic training

The Department sets out the fundamental professionally oriented courses for students of education and qualification degrees "bachelor", "specialist" and "master":

Particular attention is paid to the department a continuous computer training future economist-analyst. To do this, all professional disciplines are computer support, has an internal Web-site chair (http://study2.academy.sumy.ua/), scientific group on programming and Networking Academy SISCO. In the learning process annually introducing new information technology, the program works, Microsoft MSDN Academic Alliance (MSDN AA), in which students and teachers of the department can use for free on their personal computers, licensed software Microsoft, including Windows, Visual Studio, Project, Visio and other products.

Lecturer prepared more than 35 teaching materials, published over 200 scientific papers, including 50 monographs, brochures, manuals and textbooks.

Much attention is paid to scientific work with students. The department has a circle with programming (Head - Sergienko O.), which aims to deepen students' knowledge of modern technologies and programming languages, advanced trends in the development of software systems.
